The Things You've Left Behind

I recently inherited some jewelry from my Mom and Granny. They both passed away when I was young and this jewelry has been sitting in storage for over 15 years. Most of it is costume jewelry and stuff  I will never wear. However, it all just seems too precious to through away. It's been sitting on my dresser for a few months because I don't know what to do with it. The other day, the light was shining through the window just right and I got the idea to take close ups of each piece. Each piece brings back so many memories. Most of them are of me rifling through my mom's jewelry box and getting in trouble.
